When trying to login the mediplan, the username and or password is not reconized. Unfortunately there is no specific error message when this occurs, you must manually check to see if the module exists.

This is a known issue with the new (faster) login method when it tries to download the authentication module. There are two situations in which this problem will occur.

Windows:

sha256.exe fails to download into the Mediplan folder on your C: drive. This can be caused by two things:

1: Cannot connect to ftp://209.115.237.66 for the program to download, this is the mediplanupdate ftp site, please download the file manually from the following address: http://vault.telin.com/Hash/sha256.exe

Or 2: Permission denied to your Mediplan folder on your C: drive. Please change the permissions to this folder by logging in as the system administrator and checking full access to this folder. then try logging in again.

Mac:

sha256_mac fails to download into the "Mediplan Folder" on your 1st drive. This can be caused by two things:

1: Cannot connect to ftp://209.115.237.66 for the program to download, this is the mediplanupdate ftp site, please download the file manually from the following address: http://vault.telin.com/Hash/sha256_mac.zip for Leopard systems and below or http://vault.telin.com/Hash/sha256_LION.zip you need to start up Applications/Utilities/Terminal. Then type the following:

cd Desktop
chmod +x sha256_mac
then move the file into your mediplan folder.

Or 2: Permission denied to your Mediplan folder. Please change the permissions to this folder by logging in as the system administrator and checking full access to this folder. then try logging in again.

*Make sure the sha256_mac program has the execute (X) permission.
